Introduction
While many of you might already be well-informed on what has been revealed at this year's BlizzCon, I thought it practical to make a complete overview of it.
- Release in 2019 confirmed
- The game's voice acting will remain the same for the English version
- New music will be added
- There will be a bigger emphasis on making the colors 'pop' more
- There will no be a ladder system at the release of the game
- There will be matchmaking in the preseason
- Cutscenes will stay true to the style of the classic campaign, but with new animations, camera angles, etc.
- Arranged Team will come back
- There will be race specific MMR, so you have a different rating for each of the races (including random)
- 12 unit selection cap will not change for melee. There might be an option for higher unit selection cap in custom games.
- Zooming out for observers will be a feature
- Undead to be released to the beta on Tuesday
- Worldeditor will be included in the beta soon
- New languages will be added
- 3on3 and FFA will be added next week
- Performance will be improved a lot between the current beta and the release
- Blademaster's running animation will be fixed so he runs with his sword in one hand
- Mountain King will be upscaled
- Rexxar campaign will be included at launch of the game
If I forgot anything of importance, please let me know. Then I will have it added to the list asap.
