After eight qualifiers, the winners meet in the final of Baltplay Open Cup.

Baltplay Open Cup ended with a bang with Happy facing FoCuS in a magnificient finale that ended 3-2 in FoCuS' favour after a hardfought match by both players.

Hols Cup Weekly #16

Hols Cup is a one-day cup hosted weekly by the Korean streaming company NicegameTV, and played on NetEase-servers.

Sini had a strong showing in this week's Hols Cup, reaching the grand finale after beating both So.in, Anima and LawLiet. Facing Sini in the final was Romantic. The finale was quite one-sided, ending 3-0 in Romantic's favour.

 

 

Gera Cup 139

Gera Cup is a weekly russian cup with about one hundred $ for the winner. The tournament is hosted by GoodGame.ru, and played on the W3A-servers.

Gera Cup 139 was a special event, with only maps from the Back2Warcraft Mapping Contest.

Playing on brand new maps, the players showed that they are not only great at playing on what they are used to, but are also flexible enough to adapt on new maps.

In this week's Gera Cup Happy took the win over FoCuS.

 

B2W Mapping Contest Cup

Thanks to Back2Warcraft and the users of Hiveworkshop six new maps has been created that the players compete on in this cup!

After defeating Happy, the Korean player FoCuS played the grand finale against Foggy. Foggy ended up winning the match and thus the entire tournament.

Seeing a brand new mappool for the first was highly exciting as it allowed for players to implement new adaptations to the standard meta. Seeing FoCuS play mass wyverns was definitely a highlight of the tournament.

I really wish w3arena, battlenet and Netease will check out these new maps and think about adding them in the next season
